Foraging Toys

Hero Image

In the wild, parrots spend up to 70% of their day searching for food. Foraging is an instinctual behavior and studies indicate that foraging is essential to the mental well-being of parrots. Foraging toys require birds to work for their food and thereby provide parrots with a purpose, a mental challenge, increased opportunity for exercise and a reward for their efforts.

The following items were designed specifically for this purpose or can be easily adapted into a foraging toy through the addition of healthy bird treats.
